Community Web 3.0 Developer

We are currently looking to bring on a community web3 front-end developer. We are interviewing a variety of candidates from zero experience to 10 years experience.

You are passionate about helping people, about solving problems.  You love learning and getting creative when it comes to problems and testing to continuously improve and enhance our protocol.  You are excited by the prospect of growing personally and professionally with a new protocol in an emerging industry with people who are creating it. You aren’t afraid to fail fast.  You consider yourself a quick and self-initiated learner with a genuine interest in the impact and the influence that both decentralisation and crypto has on the future of the world.  

How Decelium is Changing the World

Decelium is a decentralized web hosting platform where people share their computer to support the community and earn credits.  We give people the tools to properly decentralize and help to fight climate change along the way. Responsibilities

  • Writing example websites and apps

  • Assist with writing the support documentation and the getting started guides

  • Answering technical support questions on Reddit and Discord

  • Engaging with the online community

  • Holding webinars and online events and Q&A’s with our community on Discord 

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field of study

  • Effective and consistent communication 

  • 2+ years of work experience in the following areas (nice to have)

    • HTML5, CSS3, CSS frameworks

    • Javascript: React (Next), Vue

    • Github

Hours

This is a flexible casual position between 20 hours to 40 hours a week

Hourly Compensation

This depends on your skill set and experience.  We are interviewing a variety of candidates from zero experience to 10 years experience. Your performance in the position may very well directly impact our ability to expand this position, and take on additional contracts. No pressure… :D
